I called them and talked to a head tech who is looking into getting thinner steels and maybe thinner clutch packs in order to fit more of them in. upgraded / performance valves for a valve body rebuild. So far Ed has done an amazing job!!! vs the blowouts I have seen for the Subaru 5eat, I see now that SOME of the MAIN CASE INTERNALS are different. Then we'll see whether that solves anything. I had to load stock rom back on the car for a few days so I could do a stock 2nd gear pull for the log and also so my mechanic wont freak out when he hits the gas and realizes this is not a stock car. Grimmspeed EBCS I have to drive it a bit more for it to relearn. Input clutch is almost the same between the two, but the Nissan variant gets an extra friction (7 Nissan vs 6 on the Subaru) and every bit helps there. It would probably be about the same amount of work as converting to manual. If you are doing 2000rpm in 3rd at 50kph, 3000rpm at 75kph, 4000rpm at 100kph and 6000rpm at 150kph, then the car should be relatively issue free. This is attest by our valued customers. Some Subaru applications have a two piece style mount. Good info.
