I have talked to a few doctors who do say drinking in moderation may be possible later in life, but I'm looking for some actual advice/stories from anyone who has suffered and attack and drank again afterward. I was hospitalized for over a week with severe acute pancreatitis caused by a gallstone (getting gallbladder removed this week, a few weeks later after the pancreas has settled down).
